PRESS RELEASE - AMP4002P a Solid-State X-Band High Power GaN Amplifier

Exodus Advanced Communications is pleased to announce the development of AMP4002P - a Solid-State X-Band High Power GaN Amplifier.   Key specifications include 500W typical and 400 W minimum peak power (20% Duty Cycle) over 9.1-9.5 GHz, Class AB linear operation GaN housed in a small form factor 19"rack .  The system has a  power gain of 56 dB minimum and power gain flatness of 2 dB p-p maximum.  Pulse Width capability is 0.35-50 µSec (measured at 50% pt), @ 20% Duty Cycle, 5KHz PRF and 75nSec Rise/Fall Times.  The system also incorporates an internal filter for -60dBc Max harmonics and features a state of the art controller capable of supporting Ethernet TCP/IP, RS422/485 and remote Bluetooth connectivity. Front Panel Touchscreen option also available.

The system is fully protected against all failures via built-in protection circuitry.  Built in functions include Gate Control Inputs (TTL), Over Temp Alarm and Detected RF Output.  The system has undergone testing and has been fully qualified for the following: Operating Temp (-20 to +55ºC), Humidity (95% @ 40ºC) Shock (MIL-STD-810F), Vibration (MIL-STD-810F), Altitude (MIL-STD-810F), and EMI/EMC (MIL STD 461E). 

Other standard configurations available include 9.5-10GHz, 400W and 9.1-9.5GHz, 1KW.
